I hope you are having a wonderful summer. I am writing because this year, for my first grade class, we are going to be doing a science unit on plants. I know that you are the book expert so I wanted to enlist your help on selecting the books that I will use for this unit. To start out the unit I wanted a children's story picture book about kids who are planting a garden. I also need books that are factual but that have pictures. These books need to be able to show the students the different parts of the plants as well as provide them with information on what a plant needs in order to grow big and strong.
